erhemmm.. i m back :-P

i call myself a festival blogger, or may be not, only in certain festivals.And as you can find that , only photo of my latest creation is keeping the blog alive.  In Conclusion, i m really a lousy blogger. sooner or later people might think that this is an abandon blog of someone ..LOL

I really admire those who keep their blog up to date all the time. Some was even amazing with income made through blogging.
Now back to mine. A little update on what i have been doing after my last blog about Hari Raya.
Been doing quite a numbers of platter lately. i guess those has now become one of the significant work among all. i have to admit that i do feel proud of myself and having kinda job satisfaction when i managed to get some new ideas proposed and appreciated by customers. Compliments from satisfied customer always made my day.

i just have to simplify the line work of this character, otherwise a 4" cookies wont be able to accommodate all. :-P

i used a no.2 brush to make the rusty look effect.

kinda fascinating into a manually cut out cookies lately. i used to tell my customer that, there were always limitation of cookies cutter for cartoon characters and some odd shape, especially in Malaysia. but when i started to learn how to cut out manually using a knife, this doesnt seems to be an issue anymore.

More and more Barney and friends coming

i was once thought that Barney & Friends are out of the trend, apparently they are not. i guess i m the one who's not been updated since Joey stopped watching Barney at his age of 3.. (giggling) , that was 8 years back! And the most embarrassing fact was, i only know about this character - riff recently while making the second order of Barney's theme.

More and more Barney's coming to Patty's Cookies collection.

i was expecting a quiet week after Raya, but i m more than happy when i received a call from a gentleman - Wong who ordered this for his wife's birthday. and i was given a free hand for doing this. And, Wong is my second male customer !

a little difference from others of my cookies projects, i used fondant to make a tiny ribbon for the dress.

i never like to repeat the design of cookies unless there's specific request from customer, thats how i decided to
make something different from the previous cookies project, here it goes, a denim short with spaghetti string top.
